Chicago based musical polymath NNAMDÏ announces new album Please Have A Seat, his first with Secretly Canadian Records, and releases new single 'I Don't Wanna Be Famous'. NNAMDÏ is one of those musicians who can and does do it all, a multi-instrumentalist who has carved a completely unique musical identity and masters just about any style he puts his hand to, from playing drums in intensely technical mathrock outfits such as The Para-medics or Monobody to his solo work that will blend seamlessly from intricate guitar based indie to experimental art-rap. After an incredibly busy 2021 'I Don't Wanna Be Famous' is his first release of the year, in a statement he talks about the benefits of taking time out, “I realized I never take time to just sit and take in where I’m at.
